Phychological thriller Those Who Remain was set to be released on May 15 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. However, developer Camel 101 and publisher Wired Productions have delayed the highly-anticipated title until Summer 2020 (Winter 2020 for Australia) due to the Coronavirus pandemics. This will allow allowing distributors and retailers more time to recover from the unfortunate situation.
“Set in the sleepy town of Dormont, a town in a spiralling split from the fabric of reality, warped by darkness and the deeds of the citizens who reside within , Those Who Remain is a story driven first-person adventure-thriller combining a deeply atmospheric game world with unnerving and tense psychological horror that delves deep into the human psyche.”
Those Who Remain is set to be one of the best story-driven horror games of 2020, one that will certainly poo your pants, but on a positive note this delay will also allow developers more time to perfect the game prior to launch.
This could be potentially good news for Nintendo Switch fans as this could mean that the Switch launch could coincide with the other platforms.
