Red Dead Redemption 2 officially has a PC release date

RDR2 also confirmed as a Google Stadia launch title

Finally, Rockstar have confirmed what every PC cowboy has waited a year to hear- Red Dead Redemption 2 is officially coming to PC. The best news is that PC gamers won’t have to wait long at all, with Rockstar confirming RDR2 is coming to PC November 5!

The PC version “features a range of graphical and technical enhancements for increased immersion along with new Bounty Hunting Missions, Gang Hideouts, Weapons and more.” Personally, I can’t wait for Red Dead Online!

Following the successful launch of Grand Theft Auto V, Rockstar have adopted a similar strategy with RDR2 by making it a console exclusive for its first year, much to the frustrations of the PC community. We all knew RDR2 would come to PC, the only question was when. The time has finally arrived, we have a release date. Well, release dates…

Rockstar, as you would expect, want you to buy RDR2 through their Rockstar Games Launcher and even have additional incentives for you; Not only can you play RDR2 on November 5, but if you pre-order before October 22 you’ll also get a choice of 2 free games from GTA III, GTA: Vice City, GTA: San Andreas, Bully: Scholarship Edition, L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition and Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition. But wait, there’s more! Rockstar will even upgrade all Standard Edition pre-orders to Premium Editions. RDR2 is available to pre-order through Rockstar Game Launcher from Octover 9, not bad Rockstar.

Don’t want to buy RDR2 through Rockstar Games launcher? You can pre-order RDR2 through Epic Games Store, Humble Store and other retailers from October 23. Unless you want to pre-order it through Steam, which unfortunately gets a delayed release until December. Rockstar plan to reveal more information including system requirements and some gorgeous screenshots on October 9.
