Razer unveils the all-new Razer Blade Pro 17

8-core 10th Gen Intel Core i7, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER, and a 17.3 inch 300Hz refresh rate display all in a laptop? That’s right, the all-new Razer Blade Pro 17 is able to provide all the power and performance of a high-end desktop, but with the convenience of being able to fit nicely in your backpack.

“The Razer Blade Pro 17 is the perfect laptop for power users, pro gamers, and creatives alike,” said Brad Wildes, Senior Vice President of Razer’s Systems Business. “It’s a workstation, stream setup, and battle rig all wrapped up in one sleek and sexy 17-inch bundle. The Blade Pro 17 can tackle the latest games and most intensive workloads as easily as it can fit into a backpack.”

Powered by the new Intel 8-core i7-10875H processor, the Blade Pro 17 features clock speeds of up to 5.1Ghz with 16MB cache, while its 8GB GDDR6 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 ensures that framerates will never be an issue.

Razer’s new 17.3-inch, full-HD 300Hz display is not only the perfect choice for gamers who want the competitive edge, but also looks fantastic; utilising 100% of the SRGB space while arriving custom-calibrated to ensure colour accuracy.

But what if you are a content creator and would prefer extra pixels? Not to worry, Razer offer a 4K 120Hz touch display option for the Razer Blade Pro 17. This option offers the best of both worlds as not only does 4K 120Hz gaming looks incredible, it also offers the luxury of the high-resolution and enables editors to create high-detailed content.

All this technology fits nicely within the Blade Pro 17’s compact .78” x 10.24” x 15.5” (19.8mm x 260mm x 393mm) chassis. The Blade Pro 17 also features UHS-III SD card reader, USB-C Thunderbolt™ 3 port, HDMI 2.0B port, 2.5Gb Ethernet port and Wi-Fi 6. An integrated HD webcam compliments the already streamer-friendly properties of the Blade Pro 17 by providing HD recording no matter where you are.

Of course, no Razer product is complete without RGB illumination. The Razer Blade Pro 17 features per key Razer Chroma RGB backlighting and will be available to purchase in the US and Canada later this month for $2,599.99 USD, with an Australian release date to be confirmed.
