Microsoft Expands Xbox Streaming Preview

Bit of late news today, Microsoft announced back on the 17 of Jan that they are expanding their Xbox console Streaming preview to all Xbox Insiders, in supported countries.

Xbox Console Streaming originally launched its preview back in October 2019 to US and UK Xbox insiders. The service enables gamers to play their owned and installed Xbox One games, including Game Pass titles on Android phones or tablets, streamed from their console.

So if you’re an Xbox user with a passion for playing triple A titles on smaller lower-res screens, make sure you have opted into the Xbox Insider program and try it out for yourself. You’ll need to have an Android 6 or greater device and your console hooked up to a 4.75 Mbps connection, 9 Mbps is what Microsoft is recommending.

Head over to the Xbox website for full details on minimum requirements and how to sign up.
