HyperX have announced a number of new products at CES 2020, none more impressive than my personal favourite Alloy Origins RGB gaming keyboard with HyperX Aqua mechanical switches and the Cloud Flight S wireless headset. As impressive as these products are, HyperX still had a few more aces up their sleeve by also revealing the Pulsefire Raid gaming mouse, new additions to the FURY DDR4 DIMM and Impact DDR4 SODIMM memory range, HyperX FURY Ultra mouse pad, and the HyperX ChargePlay Clutch charging cases for both Nintendo Switch and mobile devices.
“With an unwavering commitment to the ‘We’re All Gamers’ philosophy, the HyperX CES lineup reflects our evolution of catering to enthusiast PC gamers to console gamers to mobile gamers and beyond,” said HyperX. “Whether competing in an online PC tournament or playing the latest title on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation or Xbox, HyperX’s latest gaming peripherals and memory solutions provide the best in class for gamers as we drive HyperX to the next phase of growth.”
The HyperX Cloud Flight S wireless headset continues to build on the foundation of unparallell performance since the first HyperX Cloud gaming headset was released in 2014. The Cloud Flight S provides immserive in-game audio thanks to its custom-tuned virtual 7.1 surround sound with its huge 50mm drivers that are sure to deliever incredible performance. Its closed cup design feature 90-degree swivling ear cups that also feature intuitive ear cup control and up to 30 hours battery life that can be charged with its free-standing Qi certified wireless charger.
As I previously mentioned, the HyperX Alloy Origins Gaming Keyboard is equipped with HyperX Aqua mechanical switches with RGB exposed backlit keys that create a radiance effect that looks fantastic. The Alloy Origins keyboard features an aluminum body with an aircraft-grade brushed finish for durability and stability, while the detachable USB Type-C to USB Type-A keyboard cable is a great feature, especially for us gamers with kids and pets. The Alloy Origin features both on-board memory (that can save upto three profiles) and support for HyperX NGENUITY software that allows for advanced lighting and macro customisation.
The HyperX Pulsefire Raid RGB gaming mouse is the perfect design for gamers in my opinon. It features a sleek and ergonomic design that is functional, yet comfortable, basically everything a gamer truely needs (especially RGB!). Combine this simple functionality with some serious performance thanks to its Pixart 3389 sensor that provides upto 16,000 DPI, and you have the basis for a great performing mouse. In addition to the above, the Pulsefire Raid features 11 programmable buttons, Omron switches that provide 20M click reliability, and entensive customisation thanks for HyperX NGENUITY software.
What is the point in buying a new mouse without a new, sexy mouse pad? Well, HyperX have though about everything! The HyperX FURY Ultra is a micro-textured hardsurface mouse pad that features a radiant 360-degree RGB light ring and light bar that is customisable with HyperX NGENUITY software.
HyperX FURY DDR4 and FURY DDR4 RGB modules are high-performance memory modules for both Intel and AMD platforms and are well known to PC building enthustiasts. This is why HyperX have announced that they have expanded this range to include both 3600MHz and 3733MHz frequency versions, along with 8GB and 16GB modules kits up to 64GB. While the HyperX Impact DDR4 SODIMM memory range also gets some attension as their capacities have been increased to 32GB modules and kit configurations up to 64GB.
HyperX ChargePlay Clutch charging cases have expanded their range to both Nintendo Switch and Mobile devices. The Nintendo Switch variant features a 6000mAh battery and LED charge level indicators, while the charging case itself also features detachable rubber Joy-Con grips and a kickstand for gaming in tabletop mode. While the mobile device version is certified for Qi wireless charging and offers a removable 3000mAh battery pack that can also be used as a power bank.
