Devolver Digital’s ‘Devolver Direct’ Doubles Down With ‘Devolverland Expo’

Devolvers annual Devolver Direct Showcase continued the companies tradition of being completely insane, and I loved it. The show featured reveals, debuts, trailers, and even a virtual show floor filled with mystery and pizazz.

Devolverland Expos’ virtual show floor is already being called “The most advanced marketing simulator ever designed by humankind.” Announcements included a premiere of Shadow Warrior 3 gameplay, along with release dates for multiple games, and a reveal of the new 2d action platformer Olija.

Developed by Flying Wild Hog Rzeszów, the virtual expo plays as a first-person shooter….excuse me, ‘Marketing Simulator.’ Players find themselves in an eerily abandoned show floor. After a set of mysterious events, the annual Devolver Digital game expo has been cancelled! Battle through the darkened convention centre and avoid security bots as you watch trailers and game announcements from the cancelled direct. You can experience Devolverland Expo on Steam right now!
